이 수업은 꼬리에 꼬리를 무는 이야기로 시작된다. 우리는 힐리어스가 작은 환상이라도 그를 소중히 간직하라고 격렬하게 외쳤던[1] 것처럼 그것이 무엇이든지 소중하게 간직하기 위해 보고 듣고 느낀 것들을 더 자세히 들여다보고, 관찰하고, 메모하고, 사색하기 시작했다. 우리의 이야기를 잃어버릴 때 그만큼 더 다른 사람에게 넘어가기 쉬우며 어쩌면 그 순간부터 아마 우리의 존재가 무너질 수도 있을 수 있다는 것을 인지하고, 그 환상의 촉수를 소중하게 생각하면서 그로부터 더 발전된 이야기를 만들어 나가려고 했다. Following Press에 소개되는 각 권은 이 수업을 통해 편집된 우리의 이야기를 들려주고 또 보여주기 위해 완성된 결과물이다.

The class begins with a succession of different stories. Like Helios, who stressed the importance of retaining information through intricate details, we paid even closer attention to the intricate details through keen observations, thorough note-taking, and drawing, in order to retain the small details. We understood that once we lost grasp of our story, it becomes that much easier for others to take over, losing not only our story but also our identity. With that in mind, we centered our story around the root of our imagination and continued to develop our story to perfection. Each book in the collection “Following Press” is the finished manifestation of our stories based on these ideals.
