유토피아의 어원을 풀어 쓴 Uo-Topos는 본래 ‘어디에도 없는 장소’를 뜻한다. 이는 ‘현재 존재하지 않는 장소’를 의미하기도 한다.Illustration of Ou-Topos는 고지도에 나타난 칼투쉬(Cartouche)를 통해 Uo-Topos를 보여준다.
